Yoshida Mariko vs Inoue Takaco

Venue: Korakuen Hall
Promotion: Arsion

Yoshida and Takaco (along with Inoue Kyoko) made a debut in the same year (1988) on Zenjo's ring. When Zenjo went bankrupt in 1997, Yoshida left for Arsion while Takaco stayed in Zenjo, which created the chasm between the two. Five years on, Takaco appeared in Arsion, demanding a single bout with Yoshida.

Yoshida on mic: Takaco, you can't fight without a weapon? But the unfair style of your wrestling became better than in the past, which is interesting. Unfairness is what's lacking in myself, so maybe it's a good idea for us to form a tag team.

Takaco: It's disgusting to see you taking control of the situation! But, okay, I don't mind forming a tag team. (Throws a microphone. Then picks it up again.) One more thing. You've become strong!

Yoshida: I didn't expect you to say okay immediately. I'm surprised. Let's fight together. (Reaches out her hand to Takaco.) Let's aim for Arison's tag belts. (Takaco knees down to shake her hand.) How about us challenging the tag team that wins in a title match later today?

This is a Xmas special version of Arsion. A match between two of the best tag teams on the Arsion ring, Cyber Junks (Ohmukai Michiko and Fujita Ai) and Las Cachorras Orientales (Shimoda Mima and Mita Etsuko), with their respective enemy on their side: Yoshida Mariko for Cyber Junks and Hamada Ayako for LCO. Especially, this is probably the one and only occasion in which Ayako fights side by side with LCO.
