Aja Kong vs Kaoru (AAAW Single title match)

Aja and Kaoru are comrades of Dead Or Alive, which, along with Lioness Aska and Kato Sonoko, forms the third group on the Gaea ring where babyface types (Nagayo, Yamada, Satomura etc.) and heel types (Ozaki, Hokuto, etc.) have long been in a feud. To many surprise, Kaoru has changed her fighting style since the launch of Dead Or Alive at the end of 1999, by mixing her lucha style with hardcore (using desks in a menacing way).

In this AAAW single title match, Kaoru challenges Aja, who is one of the pioneering joshi wrestlers of style that mixes hardcore with proper wrestling skills.
